The case of Fernando Gago In Chivas de Guadalajara he continues to generate opinions. In the last game of the Rebaño Sagrado, The Necaxa coach, Eduardo Fentanes, sent a couple of hints to Gago and to the leaders who bet on coaches who do not feel the importance of the Mexican teams.

Arturo Ortega assumed the Chivas de Guadalajara bench on an interim basis. However, the Sacred Flock has already obtained two consecutive victories in Liga MX. After the victory against Necaxa, Fentanes took advantage of the opportunity to send a reflection and support about the Mexican coaches.

“About Professor Ortega, I told him on the field, I told him how good it is that a Mexican is in charge of Chivas, a Mexican from home as well. The more Mexican technicians we work with, the more Mexican soccer will benefit,” he explained.

On the other hand, Eduardo Fentanes sent a hint to the new Boca Juniors coach, Fernando Gago. Fentanes believes that Mexican coaches seek to leave positive things for soccer in the nation unlike foreign coaches who only want to feed their personal interests.

“We are not technicians who are just passing through to enhance our resume or earn some money. We are technicians who want to contribute, develop young people, and make our football improve. Almost all of us have been doing this for many years, That should have a much greater value when it comes to making the decisions of those who take on the projects.. But hey, they are the owners’ decisions,” he added.

Necaxa lost again

The Rayos del Necaxa have had a good season, but in recent days they have deflated. With the defeat against Chivas de Guadalajara There are already six games without being able to get three points in Liga MX.

“We have not managed to get out of that cycle in which we have fallen. Today was very frustrating. Once again, that start to the second half is surprising.. The first half was very downhill, which is not ideal (…) Today is bittersweet because there are good periods, There is this good closure, but it is not enough to score points“he added.

Despite the poor results, Necaxa is still in the fight for the qualifying spots for the final phase of Apertura 2024. EThe Fentanes team is in 11th place, 4 points from the classification zone. Necaxa’s next game will be against Toluca on Sunday, October 27.
