Hurricane-affected voters can use new Justice Department website

The Biden Administration launched a new digital tool to help American voters in six states affected by recent hurricanes.

The Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice presented your new online website which has compiled dozens of lists with necessary and critical information for American voters affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Recent hurricanes have displaced thousands of people and have disrupted vital services and other facets of daily life, including the voting system, the Justice Department said in a statement.

While the hurricanes forced schools, businesses and other places to close, the Justice Department said tThey also paralyzed US postal delivery services. that are crucial to voting.
