Lupillo Rivera has expressed his strong stance against the recent accusations facing rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who faces more than 100 complaints of harassment and abuse of power.

During his appearance at the Latin Billboard, the singer appeared with a black t-shirt, on which Diddy’s face could be seen marked with a red X. This choice of clothing was no coincidence, as Rivera seeks to send a clear message about her disapproval of the accusations.

In an interview with La Opinión backstage, the former member of “La Casa de los Famosos” explained the reason behind his outfit. “It is not worth playing with the dreams, with the desires, with the expectations of new talents who greatly desire to have a career. Playing with that and taking advantage and doing things like this for people to achieve, I don’t support it at all.”Rivera stated, making it clear that he does not condone the actions attributed to Diddy.

His advice for emerging artists

In addition to his criticism of the rapper, Lupillo Rivera reflected on the entertainment industry, underscoring the importance of patience and resilience for new talents.

“I wish the new talents the best in the world. This life is very beautiful; showbiz life is very beautiful. “You have to learn to be patient and not despair and achieve your dreams because they can be achieved.”he expressed, sharing his personal experience with those who are starting their career in music.

“That’s what I tell him and recommend to all new talents. “You have to have patience and perseverance because perseverance is when you achieve success.”he added.

The role parents play in the safety of their children

The singer also emphasized the responsibility that parents have in protecting and developing their children in the industry.

“Don’t let go of his hand. Don’t let go of his hand, don’t trust anyone at all. “If my daughter entered the music business and was 30 years old, I would have held her hand and taken care of her every step because that is what a father and mother should do.”Rivera advised, highlighting the importance of supervision and family support in a professional environment that can be complex and risky.
