Mom of Liam Payne's son: “Please give him some dignity”

Cheryl Cole, mother of Liam Payne’s son Bear, spoke out about the death. On Instagram, she stated that she was processing her grief and asked fans to “give a little dignity” and be kind when disseminating information about the causes of death.

“As I try to cope with this devastating event and overcome my own pain at this indescribably painful time”I would like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being,” he said alongside a photo of Payne with his little one when he was a few months old.

He added that in addition to being a pop star, Payne was a son and a father, now his son will have to face reality without him: “Liam was not only a pop star and a celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle , a dear friend and a father to our 7 year old son. A son who now has to face the harsh reality of never seeing his father again.”

“Before leaving comments or making videos, ask yourselves if you would like your own children or family members to read them,” he mentioned. The former jury of ‘The X Factor’ indicated “Please give Liam what little dignity he has left after his death so he can finally rest in peace.”

Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne’s relationship

Cole and Payne ended their relationship in 2018, the year before Bear was born. Then, They admitted that it had been a mutual decision “from love.”

“Cheryl and Liam worked very hard on their relationship. They had problems earlier this year and they were able to overcome them”said a source to the newspaper ‘The Sun’.

“But they are in different stages of their lives. and, after thinking about it a lot, they came to the decision that the best thing for everyone is for everyone to take their own path,” said the witness.

Payne died on Wednesday, September 18, at age 31, after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Palermo, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He suffered multiple traumas that caused internal and external bleeding and a skull fracture, according to the National Prosecutor’s Office of the South American country.

Authorities also said Payne was likely “in a state of semi- or complete unconsciousness” when he fell, since drugs and alcohol had been found in his hotel room.

At the moment, they are investigating two women who, supposedly, were with him hours before the fall.
