The Spanish Adama Traoré assured that it is a “pleasure” to play alongside the Mexican Raul Jimenezhis teammate at Fulham, and with whom he maintains a good relationship after having coincided for just over six seasons in the Premier League.

The relationship between both offensive players began when they were at Wolverhampton and continues to this day with both at Fulham where they have formed a duo of good teammates on the field and friends off it.

“It is always a pleasure to play with him, the duo we have formed has always been unique. We get along very well on and off the field. “That makes everything much simpler.”Adama Traoré acknowledged, referring to Raul Jimenez in a recent interview with FOX Sports México.

The 28-year-old right winger also revealed the love he has for Mexican sport, especially in the discipline of boxing where the Aztec country has numerous legends and world champions with whom the Spanish soccer player assured that he enjoys.

“I always tell Raúl that I really like watching Mexican boxers, their fights and the history they have.”he commented before comparing the drive and desire that Jiménez shows in his career with that of the great Mexican boxers.

“I always tell him that he doesn’t need that much gym because he already has the Mexican punch included in his roots.”joked Traoré, who was next to Raúl Jiménez during that complicated moment in which he fractured his skull during a Wolverhampton match against Arsenal several years ago.

“It was a pretty hard moment. I heard the ‘crack’ of the crash, how he screamed like he was dying, it was something very hard.”recalled the Spaniard who in a slightly happier tone confessed that he has asked his friend on several occasions to invite him to his native country.

“Many times I have told him to invite me to Mexico, that we should go eat tacos, watch wrestling, a boxing fight or a soccer game.”commented Adama Traoré who has not yet managed to convince Jiménez to visit his Aztec lands.

The Spanish Fulham footballer also recalled a gastronomic anecdote that he starred in with his teammate that he would like to relive but this time in Mexican territory to fully understand the experience.

“Once he brought me some grasshoppers, but I didn’t dare to try them. “I would like to go to Mexico to try them there and be able to enjoy the country”closed the winger who was trained in the FC Barcelona categories although he did not manage to establish himself so he went to England looking for options.
