The program ‘Primer Impacto’ released the first images of a man who claimed to be the husband of the Colombian singer Shakira and who was detained outside her imposing mansion in Miami, Florida.
In the material, which lasts a few seconds, you can see the moment in which the agents carried out the arrest of John Valtiera 56-year-old man originally from Texas, who defended being the heartthrob of the ‘Waka Waka’ performer.
“The suspect was identified as John Valtier, a 56-year-old native of Texas, who tried to enter the singer’s residence in Miami Beach, Florida, in early January 2024,” ‘Primer Impacto’ reported.
Although it is true that his arrest took place more than 7 months ago, it was only now that the material of this man came to light who argued that they could not impose a restraining order on him, since he swore and swore that he was the husband of the one born in Barranquilla.
“When facing court, the accused assured that the judge could not impose a restraining order on him because he was Shakira’s husband,” the Univision program reported.
In addition to revealing the moment of his arrest, ‘Primer Impacto’ also showed the interrogation and hearing of the suspect, who remained in prison for only three months.
His next hearing will take place next December, after for several months he sent gifts and letters to Shakira to the house she has shared for a few years with Milan and Sasha, the children she had with Gerard Piqué.
