They assassinate a police officer who revealed links between a Mexican mayor and the CJNG

In Mexico, many people lose their lives for raising their voices against corrupt authorities, as happened with a police officer who was murdered after revealing links between a mayor and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Juan Manuel Padilla He was the brave officer who revealed the links between the four letter cartel and the then candidate for mayor of Apulco, Zacatecas, Mauro Yuriel Jáureguiafter his father and brother were kidnapped by the criminal group.

Due to this, he had to flee to the municipality of Teocaltiche, Jalisco, but the revenge of organized crime was immediate and attacked in a sinister way, taking his life in front of his children.

This was the attack

A few days ago, a violent attack at a family party left two people dead and several injured in the municipality of Teocaltiche. The incident, which has been linked to the CJNG, occurred in an event hall where the victims were celebrating a birthday.

Among the deceased was Juan Manuel Padilla Ramírez, who had publicly denounced the kidnapping of his father and brother at the hands of said cartel. The entire attack was captured on video.and in the images you can see five armed individuals, three men and two women, getting out of a truck; Only three of them enter the party room and open fire on the attendees, generating panic among those present, including children and older adults.

Padilla Ramírez, who had been commissioned as a state police officer in Zacatecas and was about to take over as director of Civil Protection in Teocaltiche, was the main objective of the hitmen, although at first the guests believed it was an assault, according to witnesses. to the La Silla Rota site.

The previous complaint

This attack occurs after the complaints that Padilla had made months before about the criminal activity of the CJNG in the region and the possible relationship between Mauro Yuriel Jáuregui Muñoz, the now mayor of Apulco, and Gerardo González Ramírezalias “El Gera”, cartel lieutenant in the area.
