In a recent interview, Paul Stanley shared his reflections on his long-awaited reunion with Mario Bezares in The House of the Famous Mexico. The son of the late driver Paco Stanley revealed that, although the encounter was liberating, he is still processing the emotional impact it had on him.

Paul emphasized that he is not seeking forgiveness from Mario, as he does not feel he has any reason to do so. “Let’s be clear, what I did is not forgiveness because I do not have to forgive Mario Bezares or his family. The only thing I did was tell him: ‘I am at peace with you and I don’t have any problem. I already let go, and I wished him blessings for his people,” he explained.

This reunion is significant given the painful context that Paul experienced during his childhood. Mario Bezares, along with Paola Durante, was imprisoned as a suspect in the attack against Paco Stanley. Although they were released without charge, young Paul grew resentful towards them, as Bezares attempted to approach him without success.

During the conversation, Paul recalled a particular annoyance: Mario had provided him with a “fake phone” during his father’s funeral. “I was 13 or 14 years old and I never knew about him. “It left a bad taste in my mouth because I had a different concept,” he lamented.

For his part, Mario Bezares explained that the distance between them was due to media manipulation and his personal situation. “Paul was very little when we grew apart. Unfortunately, there were reporters who said things that were not true, which complicated our relationship,” he commented.

The reunion occurred thanks to a conversation between Paul and the producer of the reality show, Rosa María Noguerón, who saw the emotional potential in his participation. Paul described this process as “an act of love for self and families” and acknowledged the difficulty of reliving painful memories.

When asked about the possibility of a friendship with Mario, Paul responded that time will tell. “It’s time over time. Surely we are going to remember many things about my dad, and that is the most beautiful thing,” he said.

Paul Stanley also stressed his commitment to moving forward and healing, especially now that he has taken on the role of a father. “It is an important moment to turn the page on all that tragic moment,” he concluded.

This emotional reunion not only represents an opportunity for personal reconciliation, but also a path to healing for both, in the midst of a deep emotional healing process.
