Cristiano Ronaldo breaks records every weekendAt 39 years old, he is still active in the ranks of Al Nassr. However, Antonio Cassanoa former Real Madrid player, is one of his main detractors. The Italian said that CR7 does not know how to play football.

The former Italian player had no filters when criticizing Cristiano Ronaldo, considered by many to be one of the best players of recent years. Antonio Cassano downplayed the more than 900 goals he has scored by saying that CR7 does not know how to play football.

“Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t know how to play football. He can score 3,000 goals, I don’t give a shit. Playing football… football Higuain, Lewandowski, Benzema, Aguero, Ibra, Suarez played…“said Antonio Cassano during the ‘Long live football’ program with Nicola Ventola and Lele Adani.

In the same vein, Antonio Cassano has taken credit away from Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-scoring ability by claiming that he is an individualist player and an incomplete forward, since his only objective is to score.

“They (the players named by Cassano previously), They know how to play football as a team, but what is Cristiano’s goal? Goal, goal, goal“, he added.

One of the criticisms that Antonio Cassano developed the most was about his perception of Cristiano Ronaldo’s game. The former Italian player believes that CR7 did not learn to play as a team, not even with a squire at his side up front. This is a factor that would put him below the attackers mentioned by Cassano.

“For the last three or four years at Madrid, CR7 was a centre forward. He has always been a left winger. Do you want to put him among these attackers? Those I have mentioned have something in common… Higuaín, Agüero, Lewandowski, Benzema, Ibrahimovic and Luis Suárez, knew how to play with their teammate“, he added.
