Convinced that the international panorama can improve, Joe Biden gave his final speech before the United Nations General Assembly.

The US president stressed that although there are difficulties to be resolved between some nations, His long career in politics allows him to foresee that they will end up being resolved through an appropriate negotiation process.

“I know, I know that many people look at the world today and see difficulties and react with despair, but I don’t do that. I won’t do that,” he said.

Following his decision not to extend his mandate, Biden reminded the rest of the world’s leaders that, when the time comes, the best way to strengthen democracy is to give up power.

“Some things are more important than staying in power. We must never forget who we represent here,” he stressed.
