How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball fans a second chance. You can replay your winnings Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, the top cash prize of which is $10 million..
To play it, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket for the price of an additional $1 dollar per play.
Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature can win prizes in both drawings.
How do you get your prize?
Just like Powerball, prizes are claimed in the state where you purchased the winning ticket. Players will generally be able to claim a prize of up to $600 at any authorized lottery retailer in the country where they purchased their ticket.
Prizes over $600 can be claimed at the main lottery headquarters in each case. However, there are also some authorized establishments, whose address should be duly consulted as appropriate.
The time that lotteries give you to claim your ticket ranges from 90 days to one year, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold.
