Democratic vice presidential candidate and Minnesota governor, Tim Walzwill campaign in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania next Saturday, as part of the offensive by the latino vote that the Harris and Walz campaign is carrying out in the Hispanic Heritage Month.

Joining Walz will be Emmy Award-winning actress, Liza Colon-Zayas, and Grammy-winning, Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated actor, Anthony Ramos.

This Sunday, Colón-Zayas gave a viral and emotional speech after her victory at the Emmy Awards, in which she highlighted the importance of Latinos making their voices heard and voting.

Walz’s rally will come as Harris and Walz’s campaign is organizing and working aggressively to win the support of Latino voters during Hispanic Heritage Month, with a focus on Latino events in battleground states.

The electoral event will take place two weeks after Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, will visit Allentown, the largest city in the Lehigh Valley, for a “Latinos with Harris” rally.

Polls predict a close race between Harris, the Democratic candidate, and Republican candidate Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, a key state with 19 electoral votes.

A recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll, conducted after last week’s presidential debate, found that Harris has a 3% lead over Trump among Pennsylvania voters.
