Jose Ramon Fernandez broke down when remembering journalist Andre Marin

The world of sport in general, but especially football, Mexico and sports journalism are in mourning since this past September 16, the sad news of the death of commentator André Marín was released.

David Faitelson was the first to break the news through his official social networksAs the day progressed, various media outlets echoed the news and many expressed their feelings and thoughts about what had happened, sending messages of support, condolences and resignation to Marín’s family and those closest to him. José Ramón Fernández was one of those who expressed through words what he felt and thought about the matter.

Fernández made an appearance on the ‘Cronometro’ program and when he opened itdedicated some emotional words, a message to André Marín, who in addition to being his friend for so many years, also had the opportunity to be his coworker, so when he remembered it his voice broke.

“We want to give a proper farewell to the man who was our teammate for 17 years.” André Marín on Channel 13, Imevisión, TV Azteca, we were together for 17 years at different events, I welcomed him when I was 14, he was young, he learned and grew and when I finally came to ESPN in 2007 I stopped watching him,” recalled José Ramón.

The journalist was forced to take a break since the feeling of sadness for the loss of the one who in life was his friend, visibly overwhelmed him. After that he continued to end the message in the following way.

“I saw him at a meeting with Univision, I gave him a hug I knew he was in a delicate state, very delicate, it was sad to have aired him in such a delicate state,” said José Ramón Fernández.

Finally he was able to say goodbye through of a message of condolences.

“Rest in peace, André Marín, who was a great friend,” added the ESPN journalist.
