Metro bus and cars collide in South Los Angeles

A Metro bus crashed into three vehicles who were attempting an illegal street takeover Sunday night in the Vermont Vista area of ​​South Los Angeles.

Videos captured at the scene showed the vehicles involved in the incident destroyed, including one that ended up overturned on its side, in front of the bus, at the scene of the accident, near the intersection of South Figueroa Street and Century Boulevard.

Officials of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) KTLA was told that the three vehicles involved in the incident with the public transport, which occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, were attempting to initiate an illegal takeover of the street.
