It seems that The transfer of Lucas Ocampos from Sevilla to Rayados de Monterrey is almost a fact, since, according to reports from the EFE agency, the Argentine player has already reached an agreement with the Mexican club, after several weeks of negotiations.
According to the agency, Ocampos, under contract with Sevilla until June 2025, already “has agreed to the terms of his three-season contract with the Monterrey clubwhich has the market open until the 14th and offers about five million dollars for his transfer”This is after consulting sources involved in the operation.
EFE can also confirm that Sevilla are just waiting for Rayados to approach them in the next few days and finalize the transfer. de Ocampos, 30 years old and international for Argentina on 12 occasions.
If this goes through, the striker from Santa Fe would put an end to a five-year period with his transfer, as he arrived at the Andalusian club in the summer of 2019 and has played 208 official matches with the Sevilla shirt – including two UEFA Europa League finals won – in which he has scored 44 goals and provided 22 assists.
