Karol G and Andrea Bocelli teamed up to make a new version of “Vivo por ella”On Friday, the song by the Italian and the Colombian singer was released on all audio platforms.
The new version of the themeoriginally performed by Bocelli and Marta Sánchez, is part of the opera singer’s new album Duets, which will be released on October 25th.
“This song has a very special place in my heart, and it is a great honor to reinvent it with one of the most talented and exciting artists in the world, Karol G,” Bocelli said in a press release obtained by Billboard.
The song also features an accompanying music video.In the video, Bocelli is seen playing a grand piano, while Karol G appears in another room singing.
DuetsAndrea Bocelli’s new album, It will feature versions of 32 songs and will include duets by artists such as Ed Sheeran, Céline Dion, Dua LipaJennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Marc Anthony, among others.
Karol G in Fortnite
Recently, Fortnite announced that Karol G would star in the fifth season of the Fortnite Festival.
The singer herself shared the news through her Instagram stories a few days ago. “This is So Amazing!!! Something amazing is coming with @fnfestival,” she wrote to accompany a brief preview of what her character will look like.
The virtual event, called Karol G: MSB Fortnite, a playable musical experience divided into five parts, took place last weekendIn total, there were three days in which fans of the bichota were able to participate in the experience with up to three friends.
Karol G is the second Colombian artist to join the Fortnite universe. The first was J Balvin, who headlined Fortnite’s annual Fortnitemares event in 2020.
Other artists who have performed within the Fortnite universe include Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and Travis Scott.
