Karol G and Anitta will perform at the MTV VMAs Awards

Karol G and Anitta join the artists who will perform at the MTV VMAs AwardsThis week, the list of artists who will perform at the gala to be held on September 11 was announced.

In addition to the Colombian and Brazilian artists, the list also includes artists such as Shawn Mendes and LL Cool J.who join the list of award presentations.

The first artists announced to perform at the awards were Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, GloRilla and Rauw Alejandro. They were later joined by Benson Boone, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz and LISA.

Where will the MTV VMAs Awards be held?

This year’s edition of the MTV VMAs Awards will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at the UBS Arena in New York.

The awards were originally scheduled to hold this year’s gala on Tuesday, September 10; however, The television network decided to change the date so as not to compete with the broadcast of the presidential debate in the United States.

According to EFE, MTV confirmed that in memory of the victims of September 11, the awards will support the non-profit organizations 9/11-Day and Tuesday’s Children.

Who will be this year’s presenter?

This week, the awards reported that Rapper Megan Thee Stallion will host this year’s ceremony.

The 29-year-old rapper also has five nominations at the MTV VMAs in the categories of Best Collaboration, Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects and Best Art Direction.

Which artists are leading the MTV VMAs Awards nominations?

This year’s nominations are led by Taylor Swift, with 10 nominations. They are followed by Post Malone (9), Ariana Grande, Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter (6); Megan Thee Stallion and SZA (5) and LISA, Olivia Rodrigo and Teddy Swims (4).

At this year’s event, Katy Perry will receive the special Video Vanguard Award in recognition of her musical career.
