Joao Cancelo says goodbye to FC Barcelona and signs for Neymar's Al Hilal

The Portuguese right back Joao Cancelo sealed his signing for three seasons with the Al Hilalhe current champion of the Saudi Arabian league, after leaving the Manchester Citya club for which he had not played since January 2023 after a series of loans at Bayern Munich and the Barcelona.

The Saudi club did not announce the value of the transfer, but the Sports media in the Arab country claimed that Al Hilal paid $28 million dollars to Manchester City to close the deal and convince the player.

According to the local press, the Portuguese right back will receive a salary of $16.8 million dollars annually and He will be the second Portuguese player on the team, alongside midfielder Rubén Neves, under the orders of veteran coach Jorge Jesús, also Portuguese.
