On the second night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama will deliver keynote addresses.
Also in attendance will be Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senator Bernie Sanders and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker.
The theme of the evening is “A Bold Vision for America’s Future,” so speeches will focus on what the ticket of Vice President Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, vice presidential candidate, means for the future of the U.S.
Party delegates will also hold a symbolic nomination ceremony for Vice President Harris, who was confirmed in a virtual election.
