Halle Berry Says She Was Never Asked To Star In “Deadpool & Wolverine”

Since the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” was in full filming rumors arose about many characters from the comics Marvel would appear in the film, including “Storm,” the mutant played by Halle BerryHowever, the actress did not receive a proposal, and now she spoke about it.

Interviewed by ComicBook during the premiere from the movie “The Union”Berry commented that Blake Livelywife of Ryan Reynolds (who plays Deadpool) once asked her if she would be interested in working on the film. “(She) asked me, ‘Would you ever be in my husband’s movie as Storm?’ I said, ‘Yes, if he asked me.’ But he never asked me.”

Finally, the celebrities who had co-starring roles in “Deadpool & Wolverine” were Chris Evans (as Johnny Storm), Jennifer Garner (like Elektra), Wesley Snipes (like Blade), Aaron Stanford (like Pyro) and Channing Tatum (like Gambit); the latter had never appeared in a movie Marvel. The expected ones cameos of actors and actresses of the saga of “X-Men” remained only in rumors.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is one of the big hits of the summer. Last weekend it grossed $54 million in the United States, bringing its total to $507 million at the box office. It is not yet known if there will be another film in the saga of the characters played by Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

As to “The Union”is an action comedy in which Halle and Mark Wahlberg They play ex-boyfriends who get caught up in a spy ring. The film will premiere on the platform Netflix on August 16th.
