A 68-year-old Hispanic man, resident of Los Angeles, He died as a victim of a road rage attack after a minor collision in the parking lot of a convenience store in West Hollywood, authorities said in a statement.
The incident began at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday when two men apparently were involved in a minor traffic contact in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store in the 7900 block of West Santa Monica Boulevard.
Both men had a confrontation and one of them attacked the other, leaving him unconsciousaccording to deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).

When the paramedic teams arrived they found the victim, who She was later identified as Armando Gabriel, 68, of Los Angeles.unconscious on the sidewalk in front of the store.
Rescuers rushed the Hispanic to a local hospital, but was later declared dead.

“As far as we know at this time, We don’t believe anything happened inside (the store)“Everything was outside after the collision occurred,” said LASD Lt. Daniel Vizcarra.
Deputies arrested the other man involved in the incident, identified as Ramon Casas, 48 years old and resident of Bell GardensHe was later taken into custody and charged with murder.

Casas was being held on $2 million bail. and is expected to have his first hearing before the Los Angeles Airport Court this Thursday.
