A 4.9 magnitude earthquake shook several regions of Southern California on the afternoon of Monday, July 29, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The earthquake, which occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m., It was centered about 10 miles northwest of the town of Barstow.in Fresno County.
According to geologists, the earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 7.5 miles.
