Netflix contacted Wendy Guevara to dub an animated film

“Netflix approached me about lending my voice to a character in a series… a cartoon movie,” he said.

Guevara, who is known for being frank with her fans, said she has the contract in her hands and only needs to wait for Televisa’s authorization. “They can give us the authorization,” she said.

If she gives the final go-ahead to the project, it would be the second time that the winner of the first season of ‘La Casa de los Famosos’ works at Netflix. The first time, Guevara participated in the program ‘Pasteleros contra el tiempo’, where she was a judge.

Wendy Guevara faces controversy

Guevara continues to climb the ladder in the entertainment world, but she is not exempt from criticism due to her gender identity.

Recently, she confronted actor José Luis Reséndez. The actor said that he does not understand why Televisa gives Wendy Guevara work.

To this, he replied: “I don’t know the gentleman… He is an actor, isn’t he? When a person is successful and hard-working, he has no mind for anything other than his own business.”

Reséndez wrote the following text on his X account, formerly Twitter:

“I cannot understand how it is possible that Televisa, which I consider my second home, my second family, where they gave me the wonderful opportunity to fulfill my dream of training, where I completed my degree and where I am engraved on one of their honorary plaques of graduates, where they taught me to suffer and strive, where they taught me what perseverance is, allows and normalizes individuals who are totally contrary to all the values ​​they once instilled in me.”

Many netizens on social media supported his point, but others condemned his comments and labelled him transphobic.
