The arrest that took place at a private airport in El Paso, Texas, made headlines around the world, and with good reason, since he is one of the most wanted criminal leaders in Mexico and the United States for decades.
Such was the importance of Zambada García within the world of drug trafficking, that he was the inspiration for several artists of the Mexican regional genre to compose More than 50 corridos that talk about his life.

Although in most of the songs he is portrayed as a man of the people who preferred negotiation over bullets, the truth is that his time with the Sinaloa Cartel left a trail of violence throughout Mexican territory and flooded the United States with drugs, so the time has come for him to face justice.
