Hall of Fame Ceremony 2024: Where and when to watch Adrián Beltré's induction

The ceremony for the induction into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in its 2024 class has the presence of the Dominican Adrian Beltrewho will be joined by Todd Helton and Joe Mauer as well as manager Jim Leyland who will all be inducted into Cooperstown.

The legendary Dominican third baseman, who throughout his successful 21-season career in the Majors, stood out with teams such as Los Angeles DodgersSeattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers ended up winning the Gold Glove five times and participated in four MLB-All Star Games.

Adrian Beltre, 45, earned his spot in the Hall of Fame thanks to 95.1 percent of the votes in his first appearance on the ballot after his retirement in 2018. The Dominican left a lifetime offensive average of .286 with a total of 477 home runs in 2,933 games played.

“It means a lot to me (to be in the Hall of Fame). I’ve never been in this environment before. But walking through the hotel and seeing the other members everywhere makes you a little nervous. You idolize these people… it’s really cool.”commented Adrian Beltre excitedly.

The Dominican participated this Saturday in the traditional golf tournament that takes place prior to the induction ceremony each year at the Leatherstocking course in Cooperstown, in which more than 20 members of the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame participated on this occasion.

Among his career records in the Majors, the Dominican became the second player in the entire history of the league with the most games played at third base with 2,759, only behind Brooks Robinson (2,870). In addition, he ranks 11th all time in doubles with 636.

Baseball fans interested in watching the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 induction ceremony live will have the option to do so via streaming on MLB Network as well as MLB.com.

According to the organizers of the event, which will take place this Sunday, July 21 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown (near New York), it is expected to last about two hours and is scheduled to start at 1:30 pm Eastern Time.
