Lupillo Rivera gave his opinion on the birth of his ex-wife Mayeli Alonso’s baby. The singer was approached by the cameras of ‘Despierta América’ and said that he felt he had no right to give an opinion.
“I can’t comment on anything because I don’t like to disrespect him. I draw that line very well, because he’s another family, he belongs to another person and I don’t like to cross that line ever,” express.
Rivera was also questioned about the fact that Mayeli Alonso’s daughter was born on the same day as her sister, Jenni Rivera.
“I didn’t know the truth, but days are days. That should be left to the people who really deserve it. My sister, July 2nd is a very special day, and that day is my sister Jenni. What can I say?” answered.
The former contestant of ‘La Casa de los Famosos’ commented that he does not have any kind of relationship with his ex-wife, because he tries to maintain a line of respect.
“There doesn’t have to be that (a friendship). I think there is a line that is drawn between men, and I have my respects,” he said.
While at ‘La Casa de los Famosos’, Rivera confessed that he was not a one-woman man and that was one of the triggers for his divorce from Alonso, who at the end of their relationship claimed that the famous singer was unfaithful to her on repeated occasions.
Mayeli Alonso and her partner Andy Ruiz surprised everyone with the news of the birth of their baby on July 2. The news was released by Gordo y la Flaca.
This would be the third child for the influencer and the sixth for the boxer. The couple began their relationship in 2023.
Alonso said in March of that year that she began talking to the boxer. “Last year, at the end, they sent me a message from Andy’s Instagram and asked me something about my products, I don’t know if it was him or someone from his team,” the influencer mentioned in a TikTok.
In that same broadcast, she said, “The first week of February, he sent me a message and we started talking.”
Alonso is the mother of Lupita Karizma and L’rey, both from her long marriage to Lupillo Rivera. The name of her third daughter is currently unknown.
