The Spanish league team, Espanyol, is currently trying to get the best he can from the transfer market, but it has been complicated since the economic situation that the white and blue club is going through does not allow it to make many movements and the reinforcements for the next season will have to be quite select in some positions on the playing field.

The goal, at least, seems to have two good occupants so far. with Joan García and Pacheco, but the club’s sporting management is apparently working under the motto ‘just in case’.

From Mexico they assure the interest in Ochoa

According to information that was released by ‘TV Azteca’, Espanyol de Barcelona are reportedly targeting the highly experienced Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo ‘Memo’ Ochoa, who until recently was playing for Salernitana and who previously played for Malaga in Spain’s Primera División. Ochoa also has extensive international experience with the Mexican national team, where he had outstanding performances in several World Cups.

Even so, it seems that his arrival will only happen if Pacheco or Joan García finish leaving the team. The departure of the first (Pacheco) would make sense to lighten the wage bill, while the second (Joan García) would only be out of the blue and white club if another team can pay the termination clause he has in his current contract, around 25 million euros.

In fact, it seems that some of the big clubs in Europe have already He has shown interest and is one of the most coveted Espanyol players in the transfer market, especially due to his youth, talent, potential and the performance he showed last season in the Second Division.

A centre forward urgently needed

Another position that is a high priority for the team is that of the forward. center, especially after former FC Barcelona player Martin Braithwaite left the club.
