Payments to Social Security (SSA) retirees are sent out every month, and the exact dates on which these benefits are distributed depend on a schedule that divides the groups between those who retired before and after May 1997.
In the case of the first group, these retirees receive their benefit on the first days of the month.while those retired after May 1997 are divided into three rounds depending on their day of birth.
Retirees born between the 11th and 20th of any month are due to receive their check this Wednesday, July 17. The amounts for these beneficiaries will depend on the age at which they submitted their retirement application.
Those aged 62 receive $2,710 per month, 67 years old get $3,822 and Those over 70 years old $4,873 dollarsTherefore, in order to benefit from the highest amount, it is best to postpone retirement until the maximum age.
