Eugenio Derbez says his son will be a better father than him

Eugenio Derbez confessed, outside Imagen TV, that his son José Eduardo will be a better father than him.

“I wish I had his maturity and emotional intelligence. I see him committed to the role of father. He prepared himself, in a way that I didn’t.”

Derbez said that when he had his first daughter, Aislinn Derbez, he was lost and, compared to his son, he feels dedicated to his role because he took courses and workshops for this moment.

The actor from ‘No se acepta devoluciones’ (No Returns) said that José Eduardo, also Victoria Ruffo’s son, decided that he will not work for two months because he will dedicate himself to little Tessa, something he never did.

José Eduardo and Paola Delay welcomed Tessa on June 30 in Mexico City. On the day of her birth, almost the entire family gathered together, and there was also a reunion between Eugenio and Victoria Ruffo, who had been estranged for years.

Regarding the images of the meeting, Derbez said that there are photos of him with Ruffo, but that he would not publish anything from the hospital out of respect for his son.

Even the actor’s wife, Alessandra Rosaldo, said that it was a pleasant meeting: “I liked the whole family, I had only seen Victoria once many years ago and we had greeted each other briefly, I had never spent time with anyone before.”

Aitana Derbez’s mother commented on the meeting with the rest of the family and said “Victoria’s children too, Vicky and Anuar, were divine. The aunts too, Gaby, Marcela, the whole family, all divine (…) The truth is that we all lived together in a very natural way, everything flowed wonderfully.”

At the meeting with the media, the actor was also questioned about his twelfth wedding with Alessandra Rosaldo.

“It went by really fast, like in five minutes. It’s complicated, it’s not easy, because then people see us as the ideal couple, as the ideal couple. I’ve always thought that the secret is not to get along, but to know how to fight.”

Regarding Rosaldo’s frequent divorce rumors, the Mexican said that they laugh at those rumors and he even makes sketches about the situation.
