Retail chain Target recently announced that Their summer offers for back to school 2024 will be extended until this Saturday, July 13 with items ranging from $5 to $20 dollars.
This year, Target Circle Week will have according to Minneapolis-based retailer up to 30% off backpacks, uniforms and school supplies. “It’s all about value right now,” said Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Target.
For the retailer, this event represents the biggest sale of the season. “We consistently hear from our customers that they are looking to adjust their budget“They are looking for good deals. And that is what we are offering this back-to-school and college season,” Gomez said.
The consumers can use the “Student List Assistance” function on the retailer’s website where the necessary school supplies are classified by school, giving the option to add them to the shopping cart.
“There are shoppers who are excited and optimistic about the new school year, and at the same time, some who feel a little sad that summer is over,” Gomez said.
Teachers will also get a 20% discount on a full purchase made between July 14 and August 24, as well as college students who make full purchases between July 14 and September 28.
The retailer also indicated that during the school year Students who use the Target Circle 360 subscription service can get free deliveries for purchases over $35. Use of this extension may include rewards, offers, or bonuses.
Other retail chains like Walmart and Amazon will also have back-to-school deals. Walmart Deals begins on July 8 and will run for a week, while Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17.
