To continue honoring the most universal Dutchman of all time, Fútbol Club Barcelona will ask the city council the imposition of the name of Johan Cruyff to a city street.
According to the data revealed by a source from the club to ESPN Digital, the idea obeys to put Johan in the place he deserves and of course one of the things he intends is dedicate a space at its height in the city.
It was known that should wait until the next 24 of March , the date that is five years after his death, to start any procedure.

“From this date on, any request to dedicate a space to Johan Cruyff in the city will be processed by the Secretariat of the Presentation of the Nomenclature of the streets of Barcelona to be valued by its members”, clarified the same source.
At Barça it is understood that the Dutchman must have a dedicated space in the Les Corts neighborhood, where the Camp Nou is located, as quickly as possible and as soon as he has List the request, which must be submitted together with a plan of the proposed space in the preferred district.
