The breakup between actor Rafael Nieves and Julia Gama, both former members of “The House of the Famous“, fell like a bucket of cold water on the community of fans who captivated them during their time on the Telemundo reality show. Is Just a few days after said announcement, the actor broke his silence and revealed details about the reason behind his decision.
In an exclusive interview with the program “En Casa con Telemundo”, the celebrity spoke for the first time since the Miss Universe 2020 finalist shared the statement announcing their separation.
“It’s a very sad situation, really. They were two very nice years. “Everyone could see the relationship from day one until now that we broke up.”he told the cameras of the show hosted by Carlos Adyan.
Regarding the wave of questions he has received through social networks regarding the reasons behind their breakup, Nieves indicated that “It was not a toxic, stormy breakup, one of those that we are sometimes used to seeing in the middle.”
In this same vein, he expressed that his relationship with Julia Gama remains cordial and full of the affection they cultivated during the two years they were together: “We ended very well, so much so that Julia told me ‘hey, I’d like to see you later’. Obviously, I was delighted.”
Finally, Rafa Nieves pointed out that this new stage of his life can end in two ways: resuming his relationship or saying “goodbye” forever. “It is something that can happen in relationships that sometimes it is better to give ourselves some time apart to then confirm that we really should be together for life and that love is for life,” he indicated.
