Shooter opens fire during altercation at Pittsburgh bar: two dead and seven injured

A shooting that occurred early this Sunday in a bar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, left two people dead and seven injured, one of them seriously.reported local authorities.

The event occurred at the Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar, in the town of Penn Hills, when an altercation apparently occurred inside the bar and several individuals opened fire, according to Allegheny County police.

Upon arrival at the scene, the officers found the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman inside the premises.

Officers later discovered seven people with gunshot wounds, all of whom were transported to a local hospital, one of them in critical condition.

For the moment, the authorities, who They have an ongoing investigationthey have not released the identity of the deceased nor have they reported whether there are any arrests after the event.

Shooting in Ohio with one dead and multiple injured

Other overnight shooting in Akron, Ohio, left one person dead and at least 26 injuredaccording to the police.

The Akron Police Department reported the shooting occurred shortly after midnight Sunday morning near Kelly Ave. and 8th Ave., WEWS said.

Multiple 911 calls were made about numerous people being shot, according to police.

Shortly afterward, victims began arriving at local hospitals.

The only deceased victim was described as a 27-year-old man.

Police discovered a gun and dozens of bullet casings at the crime scene.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
