TEXAS – Houston area authorities are searching for possible victims after arresting a state trooper from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Lee Ray Boykin, 32, has been accused of having sexually assaulted at least two women in his patrol, according to criminal complaints against him.
He has also been charged with carrying and using a firearm during a violent crime and destruction and for having altered or falsified documents of a federal investigation.
Boykin is scheduled for a hearing this Wednesday in federal court.
One of the alleged victims said Boykin during a traffic stop on Highway I – 45 North on August 7 2020 the officer gave him a written warning for driving at high speed, but after the forced him to get on the patrol.
With the victim in the patrol the Officer went to a parking lot located on the 10700 block of Highway I – 45 North and threatened the woman with taking her to jail for an alleged arrest warrant that she had against her if she did not perform oral sex on her, according to the woman.
The passenger, fearing for her life and safety, did the that Boykin demanded of her and when he finished the woman said that the officer put his hand on his pistol and ordered him to run.
The investigation of the incident revealed that there was a second victim.
On August 3, Boykin allegedly stopped behind a parked vehicle at a Texaco gas station north of the city.
According to the woman involved in the incident, the officer told him that he had arrest warrants against her and that he would take her to a police station.
Boykin did not take her to the station, according to court documents. The Officer took her to the same parking lot where she allegedly sexually assaulted the other victim.
Boykin told her that he wanted oral sex and the woman did so after being threatened by the police with jail.
If Boykin is found guilty of the crimes, he faces life in prison.
The authorities believe that there are other possible victims of Boykin and ask anyone who may have been attacked by the officer they call at 713 – 693 – 5000 .
