Bundesliga could go into quarantine to avoid contagion

The German Football League (DFL) raised the possibility that both the first and second division teams undergo a quarantine between the 15 and 26 April to avoid COVID infections – 19.

This was made known by the DFL after issuing an official statement in which it emphasizes that the risk increases due to the increase in infections , as well as to avoid the spread of new variants of the virus.

This measure had already been taken in the past before the season 2019 – 2020 will resume last May. However, would be the first time that would occur with the current season.

This quarantine would prevent the dates from being played 29, 30 and 31 , which are played between 19 and 24 April. This measure promoted by the DFL seeks to prevent cases of COVID – 19 in a club, putting the entire staff in mandatory quarantine by the health services.

The DFL has become much more rigorous to avoid contagions, since now rapid tests are carried out every day to those teams that train or travel.
