When I see that the president of the PRI, the PAN and the PRD put themselves first on the list of plural senators, you know what I say, those political parties have to disappear. It is a loot of leaders.
Those words were said by one of the best-known communicators in Mexico and who received the most money (chayote) during the past six-year terms from the government in power, and despite being against most of the reforms of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador , is outraged by the level of corruption that exists among the opposition parties represented by candidate Xóchitl Gálvez.
Let’s not forget that if a communicator who has been part of the corruption of the past gets angry and expects the disappearance of those political parties, we as Mexicans and mainly expatriates to the United States, should be furious that those parties want to return to power.
I think it is time for Mexicans inside and outside the nation to make ourselves respected. Although, in 2018 we removed from the Presidency for the first time the hegemonic parties of the nation that stole, looted, sold abroad and impoverished millions of Mexicans, on this June 2, 2024 let us make them disappear. Not a vote in favor of the PRI, PAN, PRD and MC.
The objective of NOT voting for these parties is so that they understand that they work, represent and are paid by the taxes of the people of Mexico and not by the national or foreign corporations that they defend so much.
We are not against national or foreign private initiative, what we do not agree with is that any type of concession be privatized or given to the transnational corporation without taking into account the workers, their rights and the well-being of their families.
What we do not agree on is that they want to privatize everything, including public companies that are sensitive to the lives of all Mexicans such as (Petróleos Mexicanos or the Federal Electricity Commission, among many others), or privatize elements so basic and necessary for the human life like water itself. This is ridiculous. And these parties and their followers are still outraged because many Mexicans call them country-sellers.
What we do not agree on is that every contract is made with an unimaginable level of corruption, to the point that they steal even for the future (giving contracts for 20 or 30 years with every advantage for the corporate and not for the Mexicans). An example of the latter are the eight private prisons that they built (with money from the public treasury) and handed over to the private initiative (one of them is the owner of El Financiero), with 20-year contracts with an annual payment of 100% of the total. of the number of prisoners for which the building was built, regardless of whether it fills the prison or not. Some of these prisons are not even 50% full.
These types of multimillion-dollar contracts were made during the neoliberal era in most government sectors, always stealing, always with money and always very advantageous for national and foreign private initiative, and for politicians. That’s what the opposition still means today. The worst of all is that they tell us that they support social programs when they never voted for them. That’s right, they consider us so stupid that they expect us to believe them and help them return to power once again.
But that is not all. We also do not agree because these political parties ended up putting the country in debt and doubling the public debt. In other words, not only did they steal the budget, they gave advantageous contracts to themselves, family and friends, or to companies that plundered the nation’s resources; In addition to everything, they put Mexicans into debt as they did with Fobaproa. Yes, let’s not forget that we all have to pay the foreign debt and it is a tool for how the government can be subjugated by the World Bank to force it to apply certain economic measures that affect the Mexican worker. This is not only stealing, this means handing over the country’s sovereignty. That is why these political parties are also called traitors.
If you consider that these reasons are not enough to not vote for the PRI, PAN, PRD and MC, let me tell you that they are not all, there are more.
We do not agree that these parties return to power because for four decades they weakened the Mexican worker by approving underemployment (work without rights and benefits), increased VAT, never increased the minimum wage and maintained six days of vacation a year when the majority of the countries takes two or even three weeks. As if that were not enough, they reduced the worker’s pension to 30% of his salary. And what does this mean. That not only did they want to exploit the worker during his best years, but they forced him to continue working after age 65 because they knew that with 30% of his salary as a pension, they would not be able to live.
Who doesn’t know a Mexican of 65 years or older who doesn’t retire because he says that what they would give him as a pension is insufficient to be able to get through it?
And if this were not enough, these political parties opposed all the measures during Obrador’s six-year term that improved the situation of the worker whom they themselves subjected for decades.
What can we call these types of people? Corrupt, miserable, traitors, criminals. I think those adjectives fall short when we see that with their policies they divided families, forced millions of Mexicans to go to the US, others were evicted, murdered and disappeared. That is why if we vote for them we would only delay justice for the hundreds of thousands of victims who lost everything or died during the neoliberal period.
We cannot give one more vote to those types of politicians who all they did was enrich themselves in exchange for the misery and pain of a people.
And if you are still not very convinced. We do not agree with the opposition because the majority of these PRI, PAN, PRD and phospho phospho legislators voted against the increase in the minimum wage for six consecutive years, they also voted against the recovery of pensions, they voted against the increase of vacation days from six to 12 days a year. And worst of all, they voted against help for the elderly.
Voting against the well-being of a person who is already in the twilight of his life, weak and often full of illnesses, is inhuman and immoral. What are these people made of who do not show a little compassion and empathy for a human south in the most vulnerable stage of life. And in exchange for what? More illicit money and more corruption as if they hadn’t stolen enough.
Let us not forget that we come from an era where millions of older adults lived in misery, they lived off the charity of some, and others ended their days begging for bread and leaning on one another. But that these party members, many of them already millionaires due to stealing from the treasury, oppose giving 100 pesos a day to a Mexican over 65 years olda, has no explanation. The worst of all is that some still criticize social programs, such as Vicente Fox and María Amparo Casar, while they were the ones who amassed fortunes with corruption.
That’s why he invited you not to vote for them. We know that in the National Regeneration Movement there is a lot to fix and the changes are not going at the expected speed, but we are moving forward, and with the participation of honest people, little by little the ‘chapulines’ (politicians who came from other parties) They will fall if they were not honest in their decision.
Let us remember that the opposition has already done a lot of damage to us, we cannot allow them to continue stealing from us and continue giving to foreigners what belongs to the people of Mexico. With Obrador some steps have been taken and with Claudia Sheinbaum others will be taken to strengthen the worker, his salary and his benefits, but it is essential and fundamental that we at least strengthen the movement with our vote.
Let us remember that the neoliberal era lasted 36 years and they protected themselves so well that they thought that having the judiciary in their pocket, it would be impossible for Obrador to make transcendent changes that would affect the corporation, that is why the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation ( SCJN) has rejected all the measures that benefit the people (74) and that were approved by the legislative and executive branches in this six-year term.
These judges are the hope of the corporations because it is the last containment fence of the right (neoliberal) that they have left. That is why they do not want all of MORENA to vote on June 2 so that the proposal that the people themselves elect the magistrates and judges becomes a reality.
Let us remember that in many entities in the United States, a country that the opposition idealizes, people can vote for judges to advance the nation’s democracy. Unfortunately, today, the only ones who see justice are the rich and people with influence, while the poor are sentenced to prison, even without receiving a sentence.
That is why it is important to approve President Obrador’s plan C next Sunday, June 2. Let us not forget that during the neoliberal period the constitution was modified more than 500 times and the judges never said anything.
But why did they never say anything?
Simply because the changes were for the benefit of national and foreign corporations, but nothing in favor of the people. That is the reason why now the judiciary, the media and the economic elite that benefited from those constitutional changes, defend it tooth and nail and argue that Obrador wants to convert us into Venezuela, at the same time that the priests They ask that a vote for Claudia is a vote for Communism.
Furthermore, I am sure that if we prevent the PRI, PAN, PRD and MC from remaining as a party, some of those leaders will have to reinvent themselves to do things better and gain the trust of the people, if they want to return to the public arena. We know that it will be impossible to completely eradicate corruption because even in the United States it exists, a place where there is plenty of money and there is less inequality; but it is important to minimize it in Mexico to allow the people to advance and improve their quality of life.
In this six-year term, President Obrador has shown that by being honest you can govern and govern for everyone, where everyone wins, including the poorest, but as long as everyone pays their taxes, including the richest, who did not do so before.
I hope that all Mexicans and especially those who live abroad are also outraged and become heroes and heroines this June 2, voting all MORENA and no votes for the PRI, PAN, PRD and MC.
