Three months after the disclosure of his intimate video, Gabriel Soto confirms that it is decided to reach the last consequences to punish whoever is responsible for the leak, so the investigation is already in charge of national and international authorities.
Last December , when the recording came to light, the actor decided to take legal action against whoever is responsible for the disclosure of said material, which is already classified as a crime in Mexico, this was confirmed during an interview for the podcast ‘ Politically Incorrect ‘of the deputy Alessandra Rojo de la Vega , with whom he recalled how his privacy was invaded and how it affected him psychologically in his family environment.
“ I even felt sorry to leave my house ”, recalled the soap opera heartthrob, who assured that the dissemination of an intimate video affects men and women equally.
Likewise, the protagonist of ‘Do you remember me’, he assured that the case is already in the hands of the authorities not only in Mexico, since the International Criminal Police Organization, known as Interpol, is also involved.
“I have already filed a complaint, the cyber police is already conducting an investigation, and interpol is doing the research. ”
Throughout of the conversation, Soto shared how he experienced the painful episode, for which he had to go to the authorities to lift a complaint and talk over and over again about what he lived: “ It is not easy , the fact of going to the prosecution ay speak it, give your statement is to live it again . Psychologically and emotionally it has been very difficult , but I trust that the law will follow its course, for something was legislated and for something has this punishment. It’s a pretty strong violation “.
Although it was a shameful experience, the actor wants to bring the message to those who have been victims of this crime, which is protected in Mexico under the Olimpia Law:
“ For me it is very important to give this message to society, to people that something like this could happen to them, men, women, children and adolescents, who know that it already has serious consequences such as spreading it. The person or people who were in charge of spreading my video are going to have consequences
“, he said.
