The candidate for the Republican candidacy once again attacked the New York magnate by pointing out that he was directly responsible for the defeats that the conservative party has suffered in the dispute for seats in the Senate.

During a briefing held at a Washington-based hotel, Nikki Haley highlighted the Republican defeats in federal elections and in states such as Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia, which she attributes to the nation’s former president.

“All of these losses occurred after Donald Trump became president in 2016,” he emphasized.

In fact, the former South Carolina governor was blunt in mentioning that the only reason Governor Glenn Youngkin, R-Va., won the election in 2021 was because he distanced himself from the 77-year-old Republican.

Haley also railed against her party co-religionists in the House and Senate for being “doing everything they can to show that they are more Trump supporters than everyone else.”

However, not everyone thinks the same as the only rival who still has to beat the former president of the nation to make her candidacy official.

In the middle of the week, Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House of Representatives, demanded that Haley end her campaign to strengthen the Republican Party instead of trying to divide it.

“No MAGA Republican, no Trump delegate will ever elect Nikki Haley. From her They will elect any other dozen or 50 Republicans who are acceptable, but they will not elect her. “I hope she quits,” she said.

Furthermore, the 80-year-old politician uncovered the true interest pursued by the 52-year-old candidate by clinging to keeping her campaign afloat even when no primary results support her.

“She is hanging around in case something happens to Trump, so she could be the one. However, I don’t think it’s helpful to have her out there saying nasty things about the Republican candidate“, he concluded.

Meanwhile, time already seems to be working against the brave woman who also ruled out any possibility of accepting to be a presidential candidate for a third party, this in case her early defeat is mathematically decreed in the coming weeks.
