Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ relationship is one of the longest in Hollywood. Many might even say that it looks perfect. However, for it to work both have had to make sacrifices and reach agreements.
In a conversation with Amber Tamblyn, Lively revealed that when she and the Deadpool star began their relationship they established a rule: Prioritize your relationship and personal lives over your career.
“When Ryan and I got together, we made a rule of not working at the same time so that we could always prioritize our personal life,” Lively told Tamblyn, according to Entertainment Tonight.
This decision has been fundamental for the success of their relationship., explains the actress. However, Lively acknowledges that this rule also takes a lot of effort and sacrifice. “That requires working very hard when we are not. “Just like financial planning and maintaining it, it takes balance,” the Gossip Girl actress said.
This rule has also been of great importance for the functioning of their relationship, especially now that they decided to start a family.
In February of last year, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds became parents to their fourth child together; However, the couple never gave details about her name or gender, something they did with their other children.
The actor couple also does not usually share photos on social networks with their childrenthey only did it once: in 2016, when Reynolds received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Lively even once reported that an Instagram account had published a photo of her children and, thanks to the support of her followers, she managed to have the image deleted.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds met in 2010 while filming the movie Green Lantern. At that time, they both had a partner. He was with Scarlett Johansson and she was with Penn Badgley.
The actors began a friendship that, years later, led to a love relationship. Finally, in 2012 they were married at Boone Hall, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
