The candidate for the Republican nomination predicts that her rival Donald Trump is far from becoming the candidate chosen by his party and therefore will not be president of the nation.

As if she were a political fortune teller, during an interview given to the television network cnn, The former governor of South Carolina predicts that, once the elections are held in November, a woman will end up governing the United States.

“We will have a woman president of the United States; It will be me or it will be (Vice President) Harris,” she noted.

Although the New York tycoon triumphed in the Iowa caucus and in the primaries that have taken place so far, Nikki Haley rules out that this means more victories at the polls.

“Donald Trump will not win the general election. You can make him win any primaries you want; he won’t win a general election. Mark my words: you will not win a general election,” she said.

In this sense, The 52-year-old candidate urged all opponents of the former president to cast their vote against him from the primaries and not wait until the November electoral process.

“They cannot complain about what happens in a general election if they don’t really think about the primaries,” he stressed.

Subject to the results of the South Carolina elections, the average of previous polls calculated by the Decision Desk HQ website placed Trump with a wide advantage of 63.8% Republican support compared to 33.1% for Nikki Haley.

In this regard, the only opponent that prevents the 77-year-old Republican from becoming the standard bearer of his party, recalled the result he achieved during the first electoral process when he was not among the leading candidates.

“They said I wouldn’t make it to Iowa and not only did we make it, we fell 1% behind second place. We had 20%.

After, On election day in New Hampshire, they said we lost 30 points, but we got 43% of the vote“he emphasized.

In this regard, several specialists in electoral processes agree in pointing out that a setback for Haley in her home state would not only represent another victory for Donald Trump, but practically an announced chronicle of the “vegetative state” in which the campaign of the brave woman would remain.
