LeBron James continues to increase his numbers and historical records in the NBA. This Friday he became the third Los Angeles Lakers player with the most triples in franchise history in the 123-118 victory against the Spurs.

James finished with 30 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 three-pointers made, making him the third Laker with the most career three-pointers in the NBA.

“The King” reached 751 triples made with the Los Angeles jersey and is positioned behind two legends of the purple and gold: Derek Fisher and Kobe Bean Bryant.

Fisher, who wore a Lakers uniform for 13 seasons, made 846 three-pointers in his career. For its part, one of the records that seems indelible is that of Kobe Bryant with 1,827 triples made in his lifetime in 20 seasons with the Lakers.

LeBron James left Nick Van Exel behind in fourth place, and is the only active Lakers player in the top 10 with most three-pointers made.

James also has another mark between his eyebrows and that is that he is close to reaching 40,000 points for life, which would make him the first player in NBA history to reach this record.

James will be the first and only player to reach 39,000 points and 40,000. The forward of 21 seasons in the NBA He currently has 38,898 points so he only needs 102 units to achieve it.

Lakers recover with victory against Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers, with LeBron James back, beat the San Antonio Spurs 123-118 this Friday in a vibrant duel of giants between Victor Wembanyama and Anthony Davis.

‘Wemby’ scored 27 points (7 of 16 on field goals, 3 of 8 on triples), 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks.

The French prodigy is, along with Jamaal Tinsley (2001), the only rookie in NBA history with a 5×5 game, that is, at least five of value in five different statistics.

For his part, Davis also showed muscle in the zone with 28 points (10 of 14) and 13 rebounds.

However, the Lakers’ offensive reference was LeBron, who missed Thursday’s game (loss to the Golden State Warriors) due to ankle discomfort and against the Spurs he added 30 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.
