Former President Donald Trump visited Philadelphia on Saturday to attend “Sneaker Con” at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where he presented what he called Trump’s first official footwear line.

The event was dedicated to sneakerheads who collect, trade and sell shoes. “Sneaker Con” is an open marketplace where you can buy, sell and trade authentic shoes.

During his speech at the event, Trump was greeted with loud boos and cheers.

The shoes, gold high-top sneakers with an American flag detail on the back, are sold as “Never Surrender High-Tops” for $399 on a new website that also sells Trump-branded “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle.

The website says that has no connection to Trump’s campaign for the 2024 elections, although Trump campaign officials promoted his appearance in online posts.

Sales of sneakers, perfumes and colognes also have no relationship with the Trump Organization. The former president’s name, image and likeness have been licensed to CIC Ventures LLC to sell the sneakers, according to NBC News.

The announcement of the new sneaker line came less than 24 hours after Trump incurred a fine of more than $350 million for engaging in repeated financial fraud through his family corporation. Trump has said he intends to appeal the order.

That sanction came after Trump was ordered to pay $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll for damaging his reputation after she accused him of sexual assault.
