Lil Jon revealed he found out about Usher's secret wedding after the Super Bowl

Lil Jon didn’t know anything about Usher’s wedding. The rapper revealed that he found out that the singer who starred in the Super Bowl halftime show had gotten married when the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers ended.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lil Jon says he found out about Usher’s secret wedding after the Super Bowlalthough they performed together at the halftime show.

“He didn’t tell us anything,” Lil Jon said. “But I saw it in the press, of course. But no, he was going to give him a break and he was going to call him and congratulate him, as if he had worked hard for this,” he added.

Likewise, will.i.am, who also appeared on the halftime show, told Entertainment Tonight that Usher did a great job keeping their wedding a secret.. “I didn’t even know it. Congrats brother. I never knew. That’s amazing, I’m so proud of him,” she said.

Lil Jon said he has received hundreds of messages asking him about Usher’s wedding. “If I got 100 text messages, 100 direct messages, and 100 everything else, I can only imagine what he got, so I left him alone,” the rapper said.

“I’ll call him tomorrow because, you know, I didn’t even check my phone myself. I got too many messages, so I said, ‘Give it a day,’” she added.

On Saturday, after his Super Bowl performance, Usher married his girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea In Las Vegas.

According to the magazine People, The couple exchanged vows at Terrace Gazebo, a small outdoor wedding chapel in Las Vegasin which the singer’s mother, Jonetta Patton, witnessed the ceremony.

Days before his Super Bowl halftime show, People reported that Usher obtained a marriage license. According to the magazine, the “Yeah!” was licensed in Clark County, Nevada, on February 8.

So far, the singer has not confirmed the news.

This year, the Super Bowl halftime show was hosted by Usher, who offered a show in which he included choreography, performed the best hits of his career and was accompanied by several guests such as Alicia Keys, Ludacris and Lil Jon.
