This Tuesday the Chivas They will receive the Canadian Forge with everything in their favor to win a ticket to access the round of 32 of the Concacaf Champions Leaguenow called the Concacaf Champions Cup.

The Guadalajara team arrives at Akron Stadium with a 1-3 advantage in Canada, so they already have one foot in the next round of the competition, but here we tell you the score they need to secure their ticket.

Last Wednesday in Hamilton, Canada, The Mexicans won 1-3 with two goals from Cade Cowell and one from Ricardo Marín and now they are favorites in their stadium to finish the series.

Since the matches are back-and-forth and the tiebreaker is the away goal, coach Bonny Smyrniotis’ Forge is forced to win by three goals because if they do so by two, the series will be tied and they will be eliminated because Chivas scored more away goals. Unless they won by two goals, but scoring 4 or more goals, in that case the Canadian team would advance.

This means that those in the north of the continent will be forced to prioritize the offensive. Coach Smyrniotis will insist on doing so without leaving spaces behind, which, if it happens, could mean that Chivas increase their lead in the series.

For its part, Chivas will just have to hold on, they could even afford to lose 2-0.

Whoever wins the series will face the best between América, Mexican soccer champion, and Nicaraguan Real Estelí, who gave the big surprise by winning the first leg 2-1, in the top 16 phase.

In the event that Chivas and América advance from the return to the scoreboard at the Azteca next Wednesday, we would have the Liga MX Classic in the next round of the Concacaf Champions League.

Chivas will arrive with a lot of inspiration for the duel against Forge, since They just beat FC Juárez in the MX Leaguein which it marked his third consecutive victory in the home tournament.
