Mariah Carey's reaction to her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination

Mariah Carey is very excited about her nomination to enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; However, the singer assured that what she was really excited about was being nominated alongside artists that she admires.

The 54-year-old singer shared her happiness through a publication on her Instagram account. “Beyond thrilled and excited to be among these legendary nominees for induction into this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone!,” she wrote.

Mariah Carey is nominated alongside figures such as Cher, Sinead O’Connor, Oasis, Lenny Kravitz, among many others.

Kravitz commented on Carey’s post with a nice congratulatory message. “Congratulations! We’ve come too far. “It is an honor to share another experience with you,” the singer wrote.

Carey and Kravitz recently received the Recording Academy Global Impact Award at the Recording Academy Honors.

This week, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed its list of nominees for the class of 2024.

“This remarkable list of nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates,” John Sykes, president of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said of the nominees.

The announcement of the artists chosen to be immortalized in the Rock Hall of Fame will be announced in April.

Concerts in Las Vegas

Recently, it became known that Mariah Carey is ready for her third Las Vegas residency with a series of eight concerts which will be offered at the Dolby Live Theater at the Park MGM resort.

The presentations will be on April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27 regarding the anniversary of their album The Emancipation Of Mimiwhich catapulted her to the top of the charts in 2005.

Mariah performed in Las Vegas in 2015 to promote her hits compilation #1 To Infinityand in 2018 to celebrate the anniversary of Butterfly.

At the moment, the singer is promoting the 30-minute anniversary edition of her album Musci Box.
