Kanye West sparks controversy by referring to Taylor Swift in his latest song

Kanye West has once again sparked controversy with the release of his new album, “Vultures, Volume 1,” due to a controversial reference to Taylor Swift in one of his songs, “Carnival.”. The song’s lyrics, described by many as “objectifying”, have generated a wave of criticism towards the 46-year-old rapper, especially for explicit lines that include references to Swift and content of a sexual nature.

The reaction of the Swifties was immediate. Thousands expressed their displeasure on social media, accusing West of maintaining an unhealthy obsession with the 34-year-old pop star. and to constantly seek attention and relevance by repeatedly mentioning it in his songs. Some Twitter users mocked the situation, pointing out the rapper’s “problematic” behavior and his history of bullying Swift over the years.

The inclusion of Taylor Swift’s name alongside other men in the song, some of whom are known for sexual assault caseswas also the subject of criticism and considered a controversial choice by West.

This is not the first time that Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been involved in a controversy. In the past, West had already mentioned Swift in his 2016 song “Famous,” sparking a public feud between the two artists. Swift has made it clear on multiple occasions that she was offended by West’s lyrics and that she never gave her consent to be mentioned in that way in her songs.

The strained relationship between Swift and West dates back to public incidents, such as West interrupting Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. and other subsequent events.

In recent statements, Taylor Swift has spoken about the emotional and professional impact these disputes have had on herdescribing them as a “professional death” and mentioning the psychological impact they have had on his life.

Meanwhile, Kanye West is facing renewed criticism over his decision to include references to Taylor Swift in his music, which has once again generated intense scrutiny of him and his artwork.

Ozzy Osbourne accuses Kanye West of using sampling without permission and sparks controversy

The legendary singer of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, has pointed out the American rapper Kanye West for having used a sample of one of his songs in his new album, even though he was denied permission to do so. West requested permission to sample the live version of “War Pigs” from the 1983 US Festival, but specifically without the vocals.

Ozzy expressed his discontent through his Instagram account, where he shared an image showing a white background with black text in capital letters, detailing the situation. In the post, Ozzy explained that he denied permission because he considers Kanye West to be anti-Semitic and because of the pain he has caused many people. Furthermore, he stated that he does not wish to associate with him.

The repercussions were immediate. Following Ozzy’s statements, Kanye was fired from Universal Music Group and his agency CAA. Additionally, brands like Balenciaga and Gap ended their collaboration with West’s clothing brand, Yeezy.

It is important to remember that in December, Kanye issued an apology to the Jewish community through a post on his Instagram account written in Hebrew.. In said post, he expressed his sincere regret for any actions or words that may have caused pain.
