Blue Cross is getting ready to face the next tournament and forget the failure of Apertura 2023in which they did not even enter the reclassification, remaining in the second to last place overall.
For now, the club adds three reinforcements and, according to reports, has agreed on two others who are already in Mexico City, ready to face Clausura 2024.
Alexis Vega It would be the sixth element that La Maquina Celeste would have to change its face and try to give the fans new joys. According to ESPN reports, the still element of Chivas could arrive at La Noria in the coming days.
The sports media assures that sources have confirmed that Cruz Azul is in negotiations with the red and white board to acquire the player’s services and that Vega agrees to leave Guadalajara to emigrate to Mexico City with the light blue ones, which would facilitate the transfer.
Chivas, who is still the club that owns the player’s card, would hope to place the player in La Noria, since next year the player ends his contract and will soon have the freedom to negotiate with whoever he wants to leave for free at the end of the Clausura 2024.
The main obstacle is that Vega does not convince those in the capital of everything, since the 26-year-old player has not lately found the consistency that once placed him in the Mexican national team. In addition to this, the striker from Guadalajara carried out an act of indiscipline in the last tournament, same aswho marginalized him from the Sacred Flock for several weeks.
Given this, it is said that Cruz Azul has other latent options to reinforce its offensive in case the operation with the rojiblancos does not come to fruition. What is certain is that La Maquina is in a hurry to sign its new elements to have the complete squad from matchday 1 of the next campaign that begins in mid-January.
Another of the players who is rumored to be joining the light blue team is Ponchito González, the Rayados midfielder, for whom the La Maquina board has already asked and in Monterrey they have already opened the door to negotiate.
