Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martín filed a lawsuit for sexual assault and domestic violence filed against him almost two years ago by his nephew Dennis Yadiel Sánchez Martin in Puerto Ricoreported the local Department of Justice.
The Puerto Rican justice system determined that it does not find cause to file charges of sexual assault against the Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martínwho is accused by his nephew Dennis Yandiel Sánchez Martin.
The month of May, Dennis Yandiel Sánchez Martin, 22, filed a countersuit against the interpreter of ‘Vuelve’ for the sum of 10 million dollars for damages alleging that the singer abused him since he was 11 years old.
According to the official source, the evidence obtained by the Puerto Rico Police and the Public Ministry during the course of the investigation does not support the accusations of the 22-year-old young man against singer 51.
“After completing an exhaustive investigation process with the Police Bureau, “The San Juan Prosecutor’s Office determined that charges against Enrique Martin Morales, known publicly as Ricky Martín, are not appropriate.”says the text sent by the Department of Justice.
“The evidence obtained by the Police and Public Ministry during the course of the investigation is inconsistent with the allegations and does not support the accusations. Given this, the San Juan Prosecutor’s Office is prevented from initiating a criminal process in court,” the document adds.
This is how the San Juan prosecutor’s office of the Department of Justice concluded that the filing of charges against the Puerto Rican singer is not appropriate after the complaints made by his nephew Dennis.
Ricky Martin opened a judicial war almost two years ago with his nephew Sánchez Martin, who sued him for an alleged sexual assault who would have suffered at the hands of the interpreter of “La Copa de la Vida” since he was eleven years old.
The artist responded with a complaint against his family member for extortion, malicious persecution, abuse of rights, damages, demanding the sum of $30 million.but the young man counterattacked with a new complaint against his uncle, this time for assault, for which he claimed ten million dollars.
