The police reported that a shooting at an Atlanta building left three people dead and one victim injured Saturday night.
He Atlanta Police Department said officers responded to an address on Peachtree Road NE in the city’s Buckhead district on Saturday, where they found several gunshot victims.
Three victims in their 20s were pronounced dead at the scene, while a fourth who was “alert, conscious and breathing” was transported to a hospital, according to authorities.
Investigators from a homicide unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances of the shooting and the investigation was still ongoing, police said.

“This was not like a home invasion type scenario. We believe the perpetrators were invited to that drug exchange. “It was some type of drug transaction that was taking place inside the apartment,” she stated.
Police planned to conduct tests on weapons recovered at the scene to determine which of the weapons was involved in the shooting, Malecki added.
“We recovered a couple of guns at the scene, but again, we still have to do testing to see what guns were involved in each party,” he said.
Police did not identify the victims and no information was immediately available about any suspects.
A few weeks ago, a shooting in Philadelphiawhich is believed to have also been related to a drug conflict, left at least two men dead and five others injured.
The police moved to Fairhill Street, north of Philadelphia, where they found four wounded men on the ground. All were taken to a hospital, where two died, Acting Police Commissioner John Stanford told reporters at the time.
The two men who died, ages 31 and 38, had multiple gunshot wounds, while the other victims, ages 19 to 30, were being treated for gunshot wounds and were considered in critical or stable condition at the time of the shooting. made. Three other injured men were also admitted to three hospitals with injuries.
Four pistols and a long gun were found at the scene. Police said at least 70 bullets were fired, leaving holes in nearby vehicles and buildings, and drugs were also found at the scene.
