J Balvin releases song 'Amigos', dedicated to Bad Bunny?

Colombian singer J Balvin premiered his song titled “Amigos,” a reggaeton ballad that highlights his musical roots. The video was recorded in Matanuska Glacier National Park, Alaska, directed by Patricia Alfonso and produced by Eat My Shorts.

“Opening with a slow melodic rhythm and firm strings, (the artist) sings about the raw emotion and difficulties of dealing with a relationship that turned cold,” Balvin details. “Amigos” is a return to what Balvin calls “romantic reggaeton,” the music that made his fans fall in love with him in the first place. When he released “Dientes” in September, his fans expected reggaeton, his “original sound,” as he says. He has now given them exactly what they want, he commented with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show.”

J Balvin pointed out that “Amigos” has nothing to do with Bad Bunny. “I do not have time for that. “I feel a lot of love for the boy,” he says. “The friend I met at that time was amazing, you know? “So, he might be going through something.”

“I see him as a little brother, so it’s like being mad at your little brother, so I’m not going to take it personally,” he added. “Friends,” he said, “it’s not an answer.”
